What can I do with KaleidoVid PDF Tools?
You can merge PDFs, convert PDF to Word with optional OCR, translate Word and Excel files, and edit PDF text. The tools run in a browser workspace after you sign in.
Can I turn a scanned PDF into editable Word?
Yes. Choose PDF to Word and keep Enable OCR on. Download the .docx result and compare its text, tables, and layout with the scan. Recognition quality depends on the source document.
How many PDFs can I merge?
You can select up to 20 PDFs, each no larger than 50 MB. Arrange the file list before starting. You can also reorder a past merge’s inputs and submit a new merge from History.
Can I translate Word and Excel documents?
Yes. Word and Excel translation offer 18 target languages. Use .docx for Word and preferably .xlsx for Excel. Check the target language before submitting; the dashboard initially selects Thai.
Can I edit text directly in a PDF?
The PDF Text Editor can replace selectable text and add text boxes. Save your pending changes, apply them, and download the edited PDF. Text that exists only as images or shapes cannot be selected for replacement.
Is it free, and do I need an account?
An account is required to process documents. Check the current credit cost shown on the tool before starting and make sure your balance is sufficient. A re-merge is a new job with its own credit requirement.
Where do I download my results?
Merge, conversion, and translation results appear in the dashboard’s History after processing. PDF editing results are downloaded directly from the editor after applying the changes.
